Default Character Appearance-Hairstyles

This may sound stupid when compared to many of the other topics on here, but it has been a major point of discussion in my guild lately and among my friends.

Many of us have Tyrian characters and with all the new "looks" in the Factions character creation, we feel a little bored. We don't feel like scraping our hard-won lvl 20 character with its kickass armor, runes, weapons, etc, just to have them look "new", but we yearn for the ability to change their hairstyle or color.

As the toons move across the new continents, we'd like to update their look beyond armor. And we all agree we'd pay good in-game money to do it.

Frankly, my snotty mesmer should be screaming by now at her old boring pre-searing 'do.

And this is not just a female thing (though a lot of females get the yearning to update their toon's look just like they update their own looks in real life) I had one guild member scrap his Mesmer just so he could "update" her look. He's still leveling her up.

As one of the many female players of this game, the appearance of the game has a big impact on why we love guild wars. That, again, sounds petty compared to other important issues in the game mechanics, but it really does. How many of the players still screenshot locations and their characters armors/weapons/etc?

So..please...Arenanet, consider giving us the option to change the hair (style and color) of our characters.

I think I hear my mesmer screaming for a new 'do.

P.S. I joined this forum just to vent about this.

I'd like to see a stylist NPC in every "hub" city (LA, Kaineng Center, whatever Nightfall's is) that let you give any character a hairstyle from that chapter...

It would be nice to have the option to customize our characters even more. Everyone strives to have their character be "different".
